Hailing from Moodbidri, Mangaluru, Mr. Ronald Colaco is an NRI businessman residing in Dubai. With a broad spectrum of knowledge and extensive travel experience, he commenced his professional journey as an accountant in Oman back in 1975. Over the ensuing decades, Mr. Colaco garnered valuable expertise working with prominent firms across eight Gulf and European nations, steadily ascending the ranks in roles such as head of accounts and administration and financial controller.
Mr. Colaco was further distinguished by his appointment as the Commercial CEO for a consortium comprising three multinational corporations: CCICL from Greece, Mannesmann from Germany, and Saipem from Italy. This consortium undertook turn-key projects encompassing the construction of top-tier petro-refineries, gas processing and re-injection plants, as well as the development of townships and airports.
Drawing from over three decades of diverse professional experiences at leading global companies, Mr. Colaco embarked on the entrepreneurial path in 2007 by founding Clarks Exotica Convention Resort & Spa in Bengaluru. Originally conceived as a five-star clubhouse, the establishment has evolved into one of Bengaluru’s premier destinations for corporate conventions, weekend getaways, and weddings, boasting 144 meticulously designed rooms and suites. The Ocean Convention Center, spanning 50,000 sq ft, stands as one of Bengaluru’s largest event spaces.
