Eric Alexander Ozario is a renowned Konkani music composer, cultural activist, and the visionary behind Mandd Sobhann, a prominent Konkani cultural organization. Additionally, he is the founder of Kalaangann, a center dedicated to preserving Konkani heritage. Ozario played a pivotal role in securing approval for Konkani as an optional language in the school curriculum of Karnataka. For numerous years, he served as the Secretary General of the Jagotik Konknni Songhotton (JKS), the Global Konkani Organization.

In 2009, Ozario actively participated in a movement protesting the proposed tree cutting in Mangalore. His remarkable life story is chronicled in the biography titled “The Indefatigable Crusader,” which was published in 2014.

In February 2022, Eric Ozario was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by Daiji World Dubai.

In February 2023, he was bestowed with a lifetime achievement award by the Konkani Natak Sabha (KNS) in Mangalore, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career.
